ANNOUNCING THE BIRTH OF JANEY AND GEORDIE'S
THREE SONS *

(Ch. Joywood's Geordie for MagaDog, ME, CGC X Joywood's Fond Memory)

Born:  June 21, 2000

Beautiful Janey is ecstatic that she is no longer pregnant!

Geordie licks his chops in appreciation of his new heirs.  (Have a cigar?)

This being-an-aunt stuff is boring.  Just more birthdays to have to remember. (Aunt Maggie)

Janey is adapting well to her role as mother,  Almost too well, actually.  She can hardly bear to leave her children, who are but five days old here...

"My Three Sons" form a huddle.  They have doubled their birth weights at five days old!

A rare moment!  (Where's Mama?)  Don't despair; she will return before you know it.  Wild badgers...couldn't drive her away.

Movin' on out.

These dudes need to be PRIED away from their mom, who functions as an all-you-can-drink creamery.  They have appetites of piranhas, as evidenced by this little guy.

Maybe one day they can come over and play.

...AND NOW, AT TWO WEEKS OLD...

Janey and brood in your typical "sow and piglets" pose.

The three little dudes just chillin'.  By two weeks of age, their eyes are open, and they're porking out nicely.  But who will it be?...

Puppies smooshed together.  The middle guy, especially, looks like an Alien Puppy.

Bachelor #1?

Bachelor #2?

These two are temporarily colored gray brindle and brown-red brindle--why? Because we say so!

This little man has been temporarily been assigned the color wheaten brindle.  (Does he not remind you of The Pokey Little Puppy of Little Golden Books fame?)

"Stop mauling us!  I want my mommy! I'm hungry, too."

Or # 3?

...AND NOW THEY ARE FOUR WEEKS.

Getting a little harder to tell apart, but in Dating Game contestant order.  (I think.)

Bachelor #1 promises to like long walks on the beach, the poetry of Robert Burns, and shortbread.

Bachelor #2 says that one day he will probably dig holes, find moles, and reach goals.

Bachelor #3 hopes to make some lucky bitch extremely happy.

"What a dump! When do we go in a field trip?  I can't even find my lunch.  Where is she?"

"...and you know, two heads are better than one..."

"Is the universe constantly expanding, or is it just me?"

Four weeks old and getting a good start at preparing for Sumo wrestling careers.  They are fat but still able to walk.

...SIX WEEKS OLD AND NOT GETTING ANY YOUNGER...

Bachelor # Dos takes the paws to what refreshes. Ears are up!

Bachelor #1, lifelong learner and problem-solver, bright with that inquisitive yet sensitive look...

Bachelor #2, up-close and personal. Movie star good looks...

Bachelor #3, always sweet and thoughtful.  Will remember birthdays and anniversaries.

Bachelor Numero Uno reveals digging tools.

Bachelor Numero Tres with his digging tools unearthed.

"Why are you making me stand here like some kind of dork? I've got better things to do."

"Just a few more sit-ups and crunches, and I'll look like Jesse Ventura.  Oh yes-- and maybe a little less beer...um...milk..."

"And to the grooming table on which I stand...I wanna get DOWN already!"

...HEADS UP-SEVEN UP!

Barbara McNamee, breeder and purveyor of Bachelors...

"Well, are you going to let us into your hearts or NOT?"

For the zillionth time, meet Bachelor #1,  already digging and tunneling...

Bachelor #2, definitely a gentleman who "speaks his mind."

Beefcake #3 has a fascination with plants.  Could he be grow up to be a botanist?

Another look at our three contestants...

"Stop forcing me to stay here!"

"Can't you see I want to sit down?"

"Not again?"

"Now Let us prey..."

Will they bee Earthdogs like their daddy?

(Geordie, who also enjoys  eating bees...

There are NO losers in this game.  All three bachelors have won "Dates."

except for this poor unfortunate Soul:

( and Geordie thought that SHE was the PICK.)
